if i ever make a video game and i want it to be scary, i'm making so that at one point, a red evil scary marker appears on the map. the game doesn't even notice you about it. and the marker moves. and it moves towards you. and after a while you get an ominous red message "You are being hunted." and it never goes away and the scary marker on the map arrives closer and you can hear the footsteps and it arrives so quickly and you're dead
