Pokemon swsh, slight spoilers
So I spent most of my night levelling up lower level pokemon, and several of my best team were off on a job.
This was actually a bit of a challenge. I even lost for the first time on a trainer who just had one Pokemon I didn't have type advantage on. I lost two times before the right Pokemon came back and I was able to destroy the Pokemon.
I even struggled through a trainer battle, with a few pokemon fainting!

After that I brought the big boys out and creamed the fighting gym, though the last battle definitely had some surprises.
What it comes down to is that my starter is the absolute lad and he just took on the next story battle almost by himself. He juggles a rock a few times, it becomes a fire ball, he kicks it at the other Pokemon and then the other Pokemon is fainted.
Absolute lad.
