re: use of the word "deadnaming" 

@mwlucas As far as I know, "deadname" originated in trans spaces and I've never heard it used outside of a trans context. Someone once aptly defined "deadname" as "the name newspapers print when trans people are murdered". I have no idea if that's actually how the word originated, but you're likely to draw ire or at least a very intense side-eye from the trans community if you use it outside of a trans context.
