lrt: read the article -- just about no one is doing okay.
I'm not immune at all. I'm 28 and the only people I'm close to in this entire state are my family. I'm definitely too isolated; I definitely have too few close friends, even online. I've used my voice to talk to friends online less than 5 times since January 1. I'm actively trying to change this and haven't been able to.
It's even worse if you can't admit it's a problem, though. So I'm gonna be open about it. Here I am, you know.
Jesus fucking Christ:
"Having a lonely friend (or coworker, of family member) increases your chance of being lonely by 52 percent, and each additional lonely day per week you have leads to one additional lonely day per month for everyone you know."
I did not know it was this fucking contagious. This is bad. If it was a disease there would be fuckin benefit concerts for it
