@grime_witch@witches.town if said person was actually a gamer, they would know that the vast majority of the shin megami tensei series (which persona is a series within) contains primarily stand alone titles with recurring themes and elements, sometimes even a few places crossing over- much like the final fantasy series. There are a couple direct sequels such as devil summoner 2, and digital devil saga 1+2, but they are pretty much intended to be stand alone in its story and mythology
