I was afraid that Frostpunk was going to be a series of "which horrible thing are you going to do to survive?" type of decisions, but it's a lot more optimistic (and radical) than that.

@PaulFerence I feel like the bleakness of the premise is there to set up the idea that even in these hellish conditions, the "pragmatic" option of turning your city into a fascistic society or a strict theocracy is still an unacceptable and avoidable compromise.
