I wonder how a tactics/strategy game would be if the main gameplay wasn't designed around combat, but around exploration and treasure-hunting instead?

Battle Hunter for PS1 did this somewhat, though combat was still important in many ways... but its main focus was on finding a target treasure and exiting the map with it still in your possession, while using items to slow down your opposing treasure-hunters. I wonder if another game like that would be interesting...

@Raspberryfloof I would play the fuck out of a game like that. There are some tactical stealth games that are focused around avoiding combat (Invisible, Inc. comes to mind) but I'm so here for new takes on old genres.
