hoooogh I found a first person melee combat game thats also souls-like and I don't hate it, this is revolutionary

also it pulls the inspired move of giving you a dedicated kick button and puts a LOT of enemies very near death pits

one of the funniest things you can do in any videogame is boot somebody in the arse and send them off something, or into something

you know why dark messiah of might and magic was great? because you can boot people in the arse into spikes or traps or fires or off ledges or through windows at literally any time you want

also that came out right when physics in games was a new novelty and so there were lots of physicsy things to inflict on enemies, and lads. setting off a battering ram trap that takes out three enemies at once and sends them flying at 100mph into a hole never gets old

just cause is sort of a spiritual relation to this because your grappling hook is essentially a big targeted boot that you shoot like a gun

the gravity gun from half life 2 is /sort/ of like a big boot but you can only use it to boot other things. never an arse directly

half life alyx missed a trick by not letting you utilise full body tracking to boot things in the arse

skyrims fusrodah thing is a big boot in the arse that you can scream at people

dead island let you boot zombies in the arse, but it was so weak as to be almost useless

although four players crowded around one zombie laid out on the ground all giving it a shoeing will never not be funny

I'm trying to think of more games that let you boot people in the arse but I'm drawing a blank

@Moot Duke Nukem 3D had the MIGHTY FOOT but I think the knockback was either nonexistent or really unsatisfying
