Okay found out a friend who wrote one of the stories, Rob MacWolf, and their significant other sent me it. That is sweet, I will likely read their story this weekend and likely Huskyteer and @nighteyes
Still trying to figure out the magic card they sent. I swear if this is part of some convoluted treasure hunt or quest....
@ZiaMacPine Rob does love his magic cards.
@nighteyes is that a hint for this quest?
@ZiaMacPine Oh, no. I got one from him previously with a Christmas card.
@nighteyes okay so you have one of the clues for the quest. Keep it in your inventory we might need it later to secure the magnificent mcguffin of malodorous malfeasance
@ZiaMacPine Based on the card I got, I'm going to need some tongs and some melted butter because it's an enchantment that creates crab tokens.
@nighteyes *takes notes* okay that could mean we need to find a fish market, a shack for crabs, or make a crab quiche and a shellfish bisque
@ZiaMacPine Yeah, all those would be worth checking out.
@nighteyes just as long as Indont have to eat the crab quiche I make
@ZiaMacPine Not a fan?
@nighteyes I happen to DESPISE crab but hey more crab for others (decent in a bisque when mixed with other arachnids like lobster)
@ZiaMacPine Ah, okay. That makes sense then.
@nighteyes sea arachnids!
@nighteyes pineapple are many small fruits that swell and grow together into one big unit. You are eating fruit that got compacted by space as it ripened and squeezed together their flesh merging
@nighteyes why?
@ZiaMacPine You have found the weird stuff.
@nighteyes oh sweetie no that is knowledge from my love of going to botanical gardens reading the little placards. The internet is where i avoid the weird stuff
@nighteyes Anyway garlic is an antiseptic we all know that but the fascinating thing about Rhubrb is that is from Mongolia and became popular as a medicine so it traveled on the silk road to Europe where it grows well and is a solid crop for humans and animals (animals eat the leaves humans the stalks) so Ben Franklin imported to the USA as a cheap cash crop for human settlers to avoid starvation the downside is overconsumption causes kidney stones.
@nighteyes anyway Alaska pays big government grants for rhubarb research because it grows so well there.
@ZiaMacPine wow, those are interesting tidbits.
@ZiaMacPine You need to stay off the internet.
