twitter owner and why I left twitter
Basically my old mastodon instance is closing down so I more or less just stopped posting much and went back to twitter. I quickly realized that was a mistake so I got more pro-active in finding a new instance before settling here.
If you're wondering wtf has been happening since you left twitter Elon Musk has gone from being an insufferable asshole to an irredeemable monster. He's pushing election conspiracies, pro-nazi misinformation regarding a recent mass shooting, and is now using twitter to push a very racist white victimhood narrative. This kind of rhetoric is dangerous and has lead to real world violence in the past.
As cool as it was to get to 1,000 followers on twitter I cannot use that site with a clear conscience anymore. Maybe I'll get ignored here, maybe people will boost my fat bear shit posts and I'll get popular. At this point I really don't care, I just want off of twitter.
