Or does anyone have a due diligence website or aggregator they trust? @tabbiewolf @Saintajax33 @artfulreggie you're all smarter then me thoughts?
@Saintajax33 sorry should have linked to the other toot. for checking companies before purchase. getting something frivolous and I figured I should maybe take a d20 and check for anything grievous
@Saintajax33 refing here for pillow cases https://awoo.space/@ZiaMacPine/110494534729150525
@ZiaMacPine ahhh okay, yeah I'm not sure.
I... just sorta assume everything I buy has a horrible human cost... so I try not to think about it. v.v
@Saintajax33 Fair enough. I try and mitigate where possible and watch out for concerns with the understanding nothing is perfect. But I understand that's not possible in every scenario and not everyone has the bandwidth.
@ZiaMacPine Oh yeah I understand. I feel like it's a valiant effort :)
@Saintajax33 hah, not valiant no, but thanks. anyway I can't find anything so I'll keep digigng this place is selling what i want cheaper then target or potterybarn and that... does not make sense.
@Saintajax33 I just assumed maybe someone had a check site or other services outside of me brute force checking multiple search engines and news sites which is my usual method.
@ZiaMacPine i don’t, unfortunately, not for textiles. I just buy from Amazon (because I don’t have time to prioritize that— I’m fighting more important battles elsewhere) or I usually shop via advertisements I hear about on leftist podcasts assuming the hosts did research for me.
@artfulreggie Fair point. I was just checking if there was an easier method then trying three search engines with various terms. Just figuring I should check and see.
@ZiaMacPine @tabbiewolf @artfulreggie a what? Like, for news?
