@Afroblue@octodon.social spectodon heh. Sounds a bit like it might mean it's for people with spectacles (glasses) or for spectres? I thought as well of autodon, but that sounds like the "auto" could be about automation, or cars.
People could propose rules and discuss each rule proposed?
Here's an example rule:
Don't use gendered words (e.g. he/she/man/woman) when referring to another user, unless they've publicly specified (i.e. in their profile or a toot) the words to use.
