Falcon and the Winter Soldier 

This is... Hard. And not pleasant. I can see why a lot of people don't like it.

I appreciate it trying to do a less idealized (/grittier) story.

I'm not critical enough to say if it succeeded, but I appreciate them trying.

@astraluma yeah I enjoyed it and I like how instead of being the brainless non-stop action flick I expected, it was a thoughtful treatise on colonialism, moral ambiguity, and race relations

I'm baffled by people who completely missed the point to John Walker though, like they complained about how the new Captain America seemed like a bad guy and... yes? that's entirely the point?

(I do feel like they tried too hard to redeem him in the end though)
