we take on a lot of responsibility for anybody that we see attempting. we couldn't live with ourselves if we did nothing, but sometimes we can do nothing.
the knowledge that every suicide is essentally a murder by a thousand cuts, sans consequences, does little to relieve that feeling of responsibility. but it does raise ire at every parent who would abuse or neglect the signs of abuse upon children
