dreamed that I was Sherlocking it up (that's a verb now), investigating a clinic where one employee had died and another was sick. the clinic was researching a palliative, not a cure, for diabetes, and I suspected that (at least) one of their employees was testing their formula on other employees without their knowledge or consent. I got the two co-owners in an interview room, proposed my theory, and of course they scoffed "oh that's absurd."

so I said "okay, ~hypothetically speaking~, if an employee was doing this, could they do it without your knowledge?" and they were getting into this ~hypothetical~ scenario when my dream was interrupted by a commercial for a video game.
