@Twee_lil_Lass@witches.town I'm not a fursuiter and I've never been very interested in them, but I am very interested in this discussion, especially as it relates to regional/cultural differences, stylistic shifts through time, and uniformity/diversity of styles. like, *now* you could start basically a "fursuit database," just getting volunteers to send in pictures of their fursuits, and probably get a large enough sample size to work from for current trends...

@Twee_lil_Lass@witches.town but there's no way to do that for the past, other than combing through archives, seeking out older fursuiters to interview, that kind of thing, and that's some serious archivist work. WHICH I AM NOT GOING TO VOLUNTEER FOR *sits on hands*
