digestive health, pain
had a little bit of coffee today; it was indeed a Mistake. am now having stabbing pain in one particular part of my midsection. it's not an ulcer; that was ruled out in the endoscopy last month. it feels like somebody is stabbing me every half an hour or so, about where I think my left ovary is. I don't think it's my ovary... but I have *no idea* what it actually is. kidney? kidney function is completely a-ok. gallbladder? WHY STAB PAIN WHYYYY
digestive health, pain, added TMI
@green When I was younger, I had a complete blockage in my intestines and appendicitis at the same time... they removed a good chunk of both small and large, and now there is scar tissue.
Apparently, that scar tissue is still there, and has grown sensitive over the years, so I have constant IBS issues, and there are simply things I should no longer have because they are known irritants... coffee is regrettably one of them.
So far, I can still have tea.

@JulieSqveakaroo much, much empathy. I'm going to have to embark on the FODMAP exclusion diet soon to figure out what I shouldn't be eating, or should only be eating in smaller amounts. like, I know from experience that coffee is ~bad~, but it's not always *this* BAD, so I keep trying because ??? masochism I guess. >___<

@green Gallbladder is on the right, level with your stomach and behind your liver.
This is a useful chart to keep a copy of: http://www.itzarion.com/pain-symptoms-chart.html

@Jssra wheee... yeah, there's no other symptoms at all, just the irregular single STAB! pain. I'll keep a copy of that chart, though, thank you. :]

@green I stopped being able to have coffee a while ago without having digestive issues. Turned out to be a conflict with the digestive acid in my system and the specific acidity that's in coffee, and the reaction between the two burns in my insides.
