forecast calls for possible snow showers this afternoon. I believe it--if there's any precipitation, it's very likely to be snow. it's *frickin cold* out there. and chilly in here, too.

@green It's certainly pretty! And totally cool as long as you don't have to drive in it.
I mostly want it to warm up because my apartment is mostly freezing. (Living room, kitchen, and a loft space are all open-floorplanned with each other, and high ceilings make it near-impossible to heat.)
@hummingrain oooh... much empathy. when I lived in Humboldt we usually didn't have heating--either the places we lived didn't have it, or we couldn't afford to turn it on--so I got *very* familiar with electric/insulated blankets, electric space heaters, and layering clothing. >____< that must be a dozen times worse up here, especially in this cold! yeeeep...
@green We usually handle it by hiding in the bedrooms with the reptiles. They gotta stay warm, so we can justify keeping those rooms toasty. ^^
