Hats off to the bird who is violently and repeatedly throwing itself against my bathroom window this morning.

Godspeed, you crazy bastard.

THUNK! There it is again, slamming into the screen. I don't know why it's doing this. That window is covered by blackout curtains, so it's not like it's going after something it wants. Also, given the fact that it won't stop, it's apparently doing this on purpose.

This is how horror movies start, so I can only conclude that I've been given my own Netflix series.

@fidgety it's probably attacking its reflection, i.e. That Other Crazy Bastard That Won't Back Down. not sure how to break that up--maybe if you take down the blackout curtains for a bit, the Other Crazy Bastard thing will fade out and not be so aggravating?

@green
I thought that, too, but there's a screen covering the outside of the window. Bird vision is weird, so maybe it can't actually see the screen, but I don't know. Sure, we get birds flying into our windows every so often, but it's an accident

on their part. It'll happen once, and that's it. This little guy is at it non-stop.

Also, there's no vocalization, so he's not angrily yelling at the possible enemy bird.
