@Draekos ... pls stop this >_>
@IrisKalmia @Draekos But why D:
@IrisKalmia @Draekos That's making a pretty big assumption about someone you know isn't by any means a puritan. o.=.o
Being frustrated 'cause you did a thing you didn't mean to do is a perfectly reasonable thing and doesn't have to mean anything more than that
@mawr Being frustrated because you used a real swear where you meant to swap in the puritanical replacement popularized in recent time by a incredibly capitalistic meme account seems at best weird from my vantage D:
@IrisKalmia So Kos isn't allowed to use memes born from capitalism that have historical roots in Christian conservatism, even though we live in a capitalist society who's majority population are Christian, a religion who's majority of practices are conservative?
How far down this rabbit hole do we need to go? I'm sure there are a tremendous number of things in our common speech with similar roots.
@IrisKalmia It strikes me as cute, and a silly meme. It pokes fun at how silly it is to use words like "fucking" and "shit" as spice in a sentence, and at the same time, how silly it is to consider it immoral to do so.
It doesn't have to mean anything deeper than that. And you KNOW 'Kos doesn't mean anything deeper than that by it.
