"We are creating a world that all may enter without privilege or prejudice accorded by race, economic power, military force, or station of birth.
We are creating a world where anyone, anywhere may express his or her beliefs, no matter how singular, without fear of being coerced into silence or conformity."
- Excerpt from A Declaration of the Independence of Cyberspace by John Perry Barlow

In any case, this isn't my argument. hacking isn't an exclusively technological term (A Hacker's Manifesto [002] https://vulpine.club/@Irick/1123702)
@mawr
Well, other than the fact that Language in and of itself is technological, and society is built on language, so society doesn't escape the tooltip status.
@Irick @brennen Let me know when you find the part in the Hacker Manifesto that encourages trying to force others to think the way you do as opposed to trying to learn /why/ they think the way they do and accept them as they are
'cause all I'm seeing here is you trying to find excuses for your fascist leaning "my way is the only way" Mastodon tirade.
@mawr
I've not argued any of the things you are imagining I've argued? I read people's opinions. I don't presume I know their arguments, but I read them. If they want to argue with me I'm perfectly fine with it.
Do you feel I'm not giving you my ear? Why are you so sure you know these things about me?
Do you want me to read your manifesto? Or must I argue your points to be considered not a fascist?

You're aware that's literally what superglue was developed for right?
