I got my last paycheck from the old job today.
This is the job I quit Friday evening.
This law that Oregon has on the books (or something) that makes companies issue your final paycheck with all due speed is kind of weird after living in Florida for three decades, but I like it.

@mawr Ours is slightly different, but not in a horrible way. In my case, had my last shift ended before 17:00, the check would've been due end of day Friday. Because I worked through 19:00, the check was due Monday, the next business day.
I'm completely okay with it. I now know that I don't have to worry about rent, and new employer suggests that we'll see our first paycheck on 1 September.
