Real Estate

Real estate transactions are an impressive example of functional bureaucracy with the unfortunate side effect of seriously oppressing the poor

There's now 4 separate companies each with 3 people each working with me just to process and complete the paperwork and handle the money for me to buy this house.

It seems like buying a house shouldn't need to be functionally different from buying a car.

I wish land was just a public commodity.
