writing

... maybe later

re: writing, TF

Trying to write a more drawn out TF sequence with someone who is panicked and fearful, but who ultimately comes to like it and be comfortable with it is tricky.
It's like very realistically asking me the question of "If 10 years ago me started transforming into a dragon, how would I realistically react" and I think that answer probably still includes a LOT of panic and "How the fuck is this happening" and questioning everything and
well
I guess everything I -did- end up experiencing >.>'''
which is a bit the point

re: writing, TF

The point being that I think that transformation, even if it physically happened to me now, would carry it's fair share of shock, struggle, and worry no matter who you are, so it would be a but odd for me to go for some immediate "Fuck yes" reaction.
I'd be -happy- if I started transforming like... tonight, but I'd also be VERY worries about what light it would put me in, where my place in society and life would be, etc

re: writing, TF

This particular transformation, in the story, is long. and sometimes painful and uncomfortable.
I want this to capture both the joy and the radical uncertainty that "Figuring out you very much prefer to not be human" brings.
It makes her cry, it causes an upheaval of her life and changes nearly everything, but it's also magical and amazing for her and 1000% worth it
