Kink discourse; prescriptivism
When you point to the dictionary as an attempt to 'prove' that kink is inherently sexual, you are not having a conversation with the people you're arguing with, because you are throwing out their own *explicitly stated* boundaries for the word's usage and definition to assert your own perspective, effectively strawmanning their arguments by mad-libbing what they are saying, substituting their meaning for your own.
Words are made up, context is more important than dictionary definitions.

@minimink this is a whole-ass mood that you just worded better than I could think to n.n'
re: Kink discourse
Honestly, I don't trust anyone who can't accept the idea of kink and sexuality not being linked, when you have literal asexual kinksters running around the community, disproving that assertion by just *existing* within the community, and sometimes even engaging with this very topic
*HI!*
