Progress flag discourse; interphobia

I find it grimly telling that the progress flag, designed by a member of the intersex community, to highlight the inclusion of often-overlooked intersex folk, is getting the 'who cares?' rhetoric.

We get it, you think intersex folk should just shut up about their problems and continue to be invisible.

re: Progress flag discourse; queerphobia

The other 'issues' people have are:
1. a dislike of the aesthetics, which: Your personal tastes should not impact the representation of a marginalized people.
2. "It's too busy / x aren't represented": Which is just another take of the lazy "alphabet soup" argument, and just because x isn't explicitly represented right now doesn't mean that we shouldn't celebrate y being represented.
