Manufactured Discourse meta; Hellsites meta
I was recently linked to a twitter thread talking about this 4chan post. In the thread, people were pushing back against the arguments of the post, but all the same, but they were still discussing it as if it's a thought that a reasonable person could have.
I think this is a very clear example regarding how 4Chan and KF are able to manufacture discourse through sites like twitter (and how the overton window can be pushed in general).
"You don't have to convince your opposition that what you're saying is right, you just have to convince them that it's something a reasonable person could come to this conclusion. You'll have people arguing on your behalf in no time."
Don't accept the premises of these arguments, don't accept the idea that these are arguments reasonable people should be having. Do not give them the benefit of the doubt.
