alright, i've used pinafore for about a day now, and i REALLY LIKE it, but, i have a few feature requests before it can fully replace the main Masto client for me:
- dark theme
- ctrl+enter to send toots
- paste/drag and drop images into textbox
- auto-refreshing timelines (as an option)
- a 'back to top' button (toggleable)
- an optional 'new toots!' indicator on said button (also toggleable)
- a way to easily tell if a toot is a part of a thread without having to click on it
@sc Thanks, these are great suggestions! Auto-refresh is supposed to work in principle when you're scrolled to the top, although occasionally it seems to get disconnected (in addition to your case with the adblocker), not sure why yet.
I think the "new toots!" button is already implemented; it should show up whenever new toots arrive and you're not scrolled to the top.
The other issues I think already have something on GitHub but what do you mean by the thread issue?
@nolan also i JUST found a new bug where if you type a reply to a status on the toot page, if you go too far down, it starts doing this (the bottom of the gif is the bottom of my browser for me (which is Firefox 59, for reference)):
