so Java 11 is out and Oracle's new licensing for the proprietary jdk is probably gonna create a lot of FUD

please keep in mind: OpenJDK is not affected by their new subscription licensing for servers. OpenJDK remains under GPLv2+CPE, the CPE making it safe to use in proprietary applications.

oracle has bark but no bite here because the vast majority of people are already using OpenJDK instead of Oracle's JDK, and Oracle JDK is based on OpenJDK anyway.
