i'm kind of curious about the future of pc gaming, because it does appear that monster hunter world uses a job dispatch system for the bulk of its per-frame work, which is a pretty massive change to MT Framework. but this also means that by design it will try to fully saturate the CPU unless intentionally limited.
so, a lot more games coming will be using 100% CPU, and a lot of people are gonna call that "poorly optimized" when it's really just being far more efficient than it's ever been.
this is conjecture really, but maybe MHW is actually really well optimized and we just can't see it without tweaks, because they fumbled some of the port work.
