I recognize the downward spiral of internal hatred in various "fandoms" as an oppression by the commons in which people seek and hold power in an arena dictated by a marketplace "benefactor" like a social media network.
If you engage in this marketplace as a cultivator of hatred, e.g. by proliferating unsubstantiated callouts, you are engaging in a form of oppression mandated by its owners.
Your power over the people you attack and harass, and your loyal servants who share your holy word, is a false freedom granted by wealthy interests that simply want your eyes, not your ethics.
