I don't think it's something I "found out" I was. that seems to imply that being furry was something inside of me I previously didn't know about, which I don't think is true. it would be like if I was a doctor who fan before watching the show the first time, which doesn't make sense
I think of it as a community/lifestyle(?) I actively choose to partake in.
