One of my stalkers seems to find the idea of naming accounts Sigmund Freud to be funny. Yes, I get the joke, we all get the joke.

I'm a college student, and my family is already in an income challenged situation. If you see me with nice things or at a convention it's because somebody was generous enough to pay for that. Usually, a partner.

like i've gotten comments from people assuming I have tons of money because I have a nice phone. I don't have tons of money. My bank account has $14 to it right now.

also don't assume stuff about trans people's income situations in general

real talk don't suspect that if trans people don't give gifts back it's because they're ungrateful. Some of us don't have our own incomes or have such low incomes that we literally cannot afford to buy you anything back. some of us have alternative income arrangements with partners, some of us have mountains of transition related debt, etc.

and in general if you give someone a gift, you shouldn't be creating an expectation of getting something back. that's why it's called a gift.

Racism is a very real problem in the furry fandom and trying to shut out critiques of it only makes the fandom look bad as well as weakens it.

And don't think we don't see past this shit. The same people saying this are people who mock furry lifestyling and nonhuman identities. You're only concerned now because you think you can use those as a shield against critiques of racism in the fandom.

Hey everyone saying "fandom > race" needs to shut the hell up. Stop using the fandom and non human identities to deflect POC critiques of the fandom's racism.
