@jaycie right. But that suspect is more of a social and administration related cause. I was more referring to Twitter comparisons when it was just starting. they just never went with any sort of instance like formats or some other technological implementation that fragments.
@jaycie additionally, what are your thoughts about the fragmentation caused by instances? Twitter definitely doesn't have that kind of fragmentation going on, just the more social problems

@vahnj @Ironraptor I use both a awoo.space and meow.Social right now. I wish there was a way to know which instance (of all Mastodon instances) will be the best in how it's Federated with other like lists
@vahnj Yeah. Thats the part of Mastodon that makes it complicated. Seems my primary fandom (furry) is currently going towards 2 Mastodon instances (meow.social and awoo.space)
