realisation of own queer-care growth. (possibly triggering on reflection of past brainsparks)
me, 2015: Is this character trans? I mean, I get they're masc but what if they're just an egg?
me, 2019: IS this character trans? He's cool and queer so he must be a trans dude.
Somewhere in there I went from the honestly kinda shitty take of "maybe I'm okay with trans dudes because they're still somewhat feminine" which like. Yeah ouch. Fuck that's a bad take and I know it.
I think it's more that I'm growing to be into ANYTHING not cishet, with just a femme bias.

@Draekos I would die for him

So as payment for you even having to read that poor take I had, have Boniface(Bon-if-ay) or Ifay. My most beloved 5e character I've ever played.
Born to a lesser noble's bodyguard; and finding an out of a life that did not fit him when the nobles were killed. He took up not only the dead heir's name but gender. Finally getting to live the life he wanted, and working to free his homelands from a necromancer.
Unknowingly a Paladin (a fun trope to play) he'd been granted powers by the lizard god his traveling companions follow (the god's own lands also under the control of the necromancers).... and the campaign fizzled out around the time he learn he had the only remaining claim to the throne of the whole kingdom.
