I... I know Cardcaptor Sakura is probably a trashy show. But it was one I was very.... upset about.
10 year old me sure did enjoy Beast Wars and Reboot, boyish shows, but like. I also wanted to watch Cardcaptor Sakura and Totally Spies rather than like, Dragonball Z.
Felt like I was sneaking some forbidden treasure watching either of those shows.
Is new sailormoon good? Is it good to watch without the old ones as context do you think? Reboot or continuation?

For a short moment on problematic nature of anime
You know, this show actually does well showing some sexuality in childhood without it being CREEPY (looking at you Flip Flappers. That one outfit makes me worried to suggest the show to people)
Even the fan service stuff generally felt like it was a bit self aware. Not sure if it makes that GOOD, but it's better than it just being there unquestioned.
While looking for a different gif from the series, found this.
I need to rewatch this at some point. The animation is just so good, the story's cute and I'm full onboard for some cute queer kids.
Also just like, some scenes like this where you kinda need to see it as a loop to actually catch just how well done it is :D

Kinda frustrated that the like... nervous tick I seem to have is my left arm shaking and that's my drawing arm so it already kinda feels tired and I've not even picked up my tablet pen today.

Today's been.... The last 6 hours have felt like a blurred and very long half hour. I know I've been either crying of like, involuntary micronapping on my desk.
