Uhhhg now that I posted it I see like... so much wrong with the hand... the “wood cut” widths are uneven which would be impossible. The single width lines on the finger don’t match the face.

Final version with woodcut style hand with PROPER LIGHTSOURCE.

I need another person to help me take a properly lit reference photo on a white background because my hand doesn't turn that way...

@Fringecrow every time I put my stylus down to draw a line it doesnt start drawing until I move the pen "enough" for it to decide I'm not holding to right click and it makes me a little insane.

I could ask someone how to do stuff if I were using photoshop, but afaik no one good uses gimp for this reason haha - another frustration with it.

I also want to sharpen up the face and darken it but I'm not sure how haha

Gimp is great for doing like little personal things, but seriously if I had to work with it professionally I'd throw myself out a window. There are so many tiny annoyances that would build up over time.
