I've just been reading this free book on codes of conduct and how to enforce them, and it's really excellent - clear, specific advice backed with references and examples. Focus is mainly on conferences and conventions but there's useful stuff in there for other kinds of community management:

You know that feeling when you stay up all night to finish that #fanfic you've been reading for a few days straight that's a million and 47 thousand words long and knowing that it was 100 thousand words too long when you were half way through but you kept going because ugh why not despite the fact that it's trying to be both a fantasy slice-of-life and a sci-fi thriller at the same time and it keeps juggling all these plot points which is frustrating because there be gold in them hills sometimes
