Looks like I might be able to get my dad to use linux, about to get up the 4gb laptop with KDE Neon and he can use it for music stuff, which should be more user friendily than windows 11, what he's currently using.

My birthday is coming up, I think i'll get a Kobo eReader. Certainly an eReader, Kobo seems nice unless I find something better before the 14th. Preferably something open source but still premade, Not confident enough to learn soldering yet.

I might try making a Vieb erwic for it since stuff Just Works in Vieb. Still seems obnoxious to make it that complicated.

Does LibreJS have trouble remembering when you blacklist something? I block javascript on invidious because the html video player works better than their javascript implementation, ( lmao ) but it doesn't seem to stay blocked between sessions.

Hahaha I figured out how to block stuff on invidious by putting this in my uBlock filters:

I am considering learning QT and fixing konqueror's adblock myself, firefox feels clunky in comparison.

Why must GitLab of all things be one of those sites that require javascript to load a static page. It's a git repository.
