Another week coming up where I am required to hide from wildfire smoke. Joy.

I don’t know how much of my gender identity is “just” a rejection of the horrible, violent, antisocial demands of masculinity, which I was always too emotional and physically weak to meet. I believed adults who taught children that hostility and violence is unacceptable, so I was rejected by my peers.

I continue to question my gender because I don’t trust that it’s “real”, not just resentment for my gender role.

Spending my entire life desperately wanting not to be male and then identifying myself as agender as soon as I met someone else who did the same so I realized it was an option was *totally* a rapid-onset disorder brought about by social pressure to embrace transgenderism (in the early ‘00s), yeah, of course

Dammit, the wildfire smoke isn’t done yet. PNW folks, keep watching air quality reports,and go outside and exercise whenever you safely can - that’s going to mean two mile walks in the middle of TI8 in yellow/orange air quality, for me. Time to dig up a phone app for indoor no-equipment limited-space workouts so I don’t spend another week inactive, it’s not good for me.

It’s hazy out here and smells like ashes again. :(

The air is breathable again and it’s amazing

I bought an extra air cleaner for my living room and now it’s very loud in here but we could all breathe better in minutes. I have been spending days in my bedroom because it was the room with the cleanest air, being less imprisoned is nice. I hope the forecast that the smoke will clear soon turns out to be correct
