I feel like I’ve been social-media quiet lately. It’s mostly for good reasons (a lot of very nice things happening in my personal life), but also a few stressful reasons that I don’t entirely feel comfortable broadcasting.
Nevertheless, I just wanted to mention that I feel pretty good today. I’ve got 4-5 more hours of work and then I get a well deserved break from being in the store! =n.n=

Please don’t just barrel into another person and dump your pain on them. Your pain is valid and real, but if you do that you’re only handing that off to someone who’s not prepared for it. That’s only going to continue the cycle.

Hey, I know that lots of folks are hurting right now. There’s a ton of pain going around in the orthocosm and elsewhere. When you go to someone else to talk about that pain, try to ask the following questions:
1) Have they eaten/showered/got a good night’s sleep?
2) Are they in a place to listen to you?
3) Do they have the time / energy to listen right now?
Self care Reminder
I know it’s been rough on a lot of people lately. Please, in all these stressful times don’t forget to take care of yourself. Consider making a self-care checklist. Here’s a few things that might go on one (taken from my own list) :
- Take your meds
- Keep to your sleep schedule if you can
- Get a walk in or exercise yourself a little.
- Do those chores you’ve been putting off.
- Don’t forget to look beyond today, and remind yourself about a good thing on the horizon.

I took it as a welcome reminder that I have been fairly excessive when it comes to my consumption levels of junk food and that mayyyybe I should slow down. I made a commitment to myself to try to drink less soda and have been successful thus far.
Today's card is the Ten of Cups. Fitting cause I have a lot of projects finishing up today or later this week, and it feels good to get those out of the way.
