@ShugoWah@snouts.online I'm happy to double-check but: Quake 2 has the mode you describe and also a mode that's basically dual stick aiming but with the d-pad instead of the left stick. (Though if you count that, you could also argue for Turok on the N64)
I believe Medal of Honor has it as default with no weirdness, though
@ShugoWah@snouts.online I want to point out this is not the first the first console game that had dual stick aiming! Depending on how you qualify it the honor goes to either the PS1 port of Quake 2 (Sep 1999) or Medal of Honor (Oct 1999)

so. i'm not throwing shade, and about 60% of these choices i agree with. but Here's My Take:
- this list exclusively focuses on the Western webcomics scene and totally ignores Korean webtoons. i realize they're two scenes that have only really started to overlap in the past five years or so, but they've caused enough of a sea change that i feel like omitting any is weird. (great catsby? come ON)
ALSO uhhh maybe consider this a self-harm content warning if you're thinking about watching the movie since it's got some mean-spirited stuff towards the end

and yeah Tommy Wiseau is less of a funny oddity and more of a terrifying figure now

my aunt owns a house that she was planning on selling but my uncle moved into it at my mom's suggestion after his retirement, and there seems to be a lot of unstated resentment while us in the younger generation are completely out of the loop about all this
