okay so this is an open question and i am gonna absolutely drown in shit for it, but

what is this obsidian note taking thing people are using

@Xkeeper reasonably nice if you can stand writing in markdown, the default color theme is purple which is cool. wiki-style links... some people prefer the open source alternative, logseq, but they seem fairly similar

@Laevos wiki style links at least make sense. markdown style links can [eat](my ass). or was it (eat)[my ass]. or was it [!](my ass) i forget

@Xkeeper yeah hehe x3 there's a hotkey for it at least and it'll apply it to text you have selected etc., but I feel you, markdown is not the greatest x3;;; all the implementations with their fun subtle differences LOL >w>!!!! maybe someday I'll learn emacs so I can use orgmode like the cool kids 😁
