Random reflection on the origins of discrimination
I think the primary source of discrimination is differential education. We educate our fellow citizens differently based on assumed gender, skin colour... and we also teach them to treat others differently based on those traits. However, we cannot reduce the term "education" to what our parents and teachers show and tell us: our media, our environment, how things are made around us and for who they are made, everything counts.
