haha, I'm so damn tired, the last few days/weeks/months have just torn me apart
@Maiasma Honestly, this place has been a good refuge from a lot of that for me.
@PaulFerence Ok, granted, I've only been here a day, but so far it seems like it's 1/3 sad trans people, 1/3 incomprehensible tech talk, 1/3 twitter-lite, and half of it's in French. None of that is a condemnation, I'm a sad trans person myself, after all, and not knowing French is on me. I'm just struggling to find a footing
@Maiasma That's fair. part of what I like is the content warning system, which means I can engage in politics when I want to, instead of having the latest political nightmare shoved into my face for hours on end until I'm a deadened husk of my former self.

@PaulFerence Again, I haven't been here long enough to fairly judge, and it's not like this place is bad or anything. Doesn't cost me anything to give it more time.
Also, PoE this weekend? Today doesn't work well (Fridays in general will probably be iffy) but Sat or Sun evening would work, or maybe get some time in the mornings.
@Maiasma Sat is birthday dinner with friends and Dad is in town until Sun morning.
@Maiasma Also, the other major thing for me, is when I've seen people here being assholes, or harassing others, mods move in swiftly and handle matters. Which is a nice change.

@Maiasma Fridays are typically bad for me as that is ME day with friends until ~ 9 - 10 PM.
