anarchist witchcraft, a short criticism
there seems to be an alarming trend of anarchist witchcraft that does not actually follow through with material praxis alongside their spellwork;
this is dangerous. it encourages inaction and diverts energy away from organizing. thoughts and prayers do nothing on their own.
the role of the witch historically has been not just a spiritual role, but a role of community service & resources. they didn't just "cast spells" or "hex people". they took actual concrete actions to improve the lives of those around them in a measurable way.
At Thanksgiving dinner at my mom's house in a matching blue Hawaiian shirt and maxi skirt looking like the totally wicked enby witch of the east.
And nobody has said anything. XD

In northern Ethiopia, at 130 meters below sea level, in the hottest valley in the world, there exists a series of pools that look more alien than anything that should rightly be found on Earth.
This is the dangerously beautiful Dallol Volcano, and hydrothermal system, found in the Danakil depression. The highest point of the volcano reaches -48 meters above sea level. Brine pools and acidic liquid spout from the ground, building up salt and sulfuric pillars as temporary geysers build them. Here, not two but three tectonic plates move away from each other, causing the land to sink deeper and deeper, and bringing up minerals from deep within the Earth. In the next few million years, the Red Sea will eventually fill the depression.
The word Dallol, in the language of the Afar people, means disintegration. The Disintegration Volcano.

Today, the fuel filter on my car rusted thru and started leaking gasoline. So, I had to stop everything and fix that.
While driving out for the third time to get a fitting to replace a broken and stuck fitting, (In a 3500 chevy rack-body truck) I had a supernatural experience involving getting Possessed.
It says something about my life that this second bit was more a freaky annoyance than anything.
And that the real Sorcery was used to get a fitting into a nylon fuel line.

being a corporation and being a vampire are very similar. both may or may not want to do good, however their physical nature requires that they perform harmful acts to sustain themselves. for a vampire this is drinking the blood of humans, and for a corporation it is the exploitation of humans in order to produce profit and unending growth

@ak@beach.city I knew I was something nonstandard since I was 16 or so in the early 2000s. It wasn't till this year I actually went and really Did something about it.
For me, I held off because I had no idea What I was. Turns out it's a medical condition and I was Intersex this whole time.
For me? Held off because of all of the above, plus not knowing if I even wanted a transition along binary lines.
