@hyratel Yes but the 8" monster grinder for a total of 36 hours has ruined my entire meatsuit.
So, I've been quiet here because my Real Life has been a neverending cavalcade of trials and stressors that aren't really worth liveblogging about.
Good news is, I really like my new job at the automation shop.
Bad news is, I spent the last week of workdays with an angle grinder in my hands, helping the Welder. And I'm an engineer/Wiring technician.

One of my old demons is now a functional, happy part of our system, he was the only one who saw the trauma our family was inflicting and lashes out.
Sometimes they're loud and abusive because the rest of the group made peace and forgave people, but that particular system never got what they needed for the war to be Over

god it's still extremely funny that the most important technique in Goldeneye speedrunning was discovered because someone didn't understand english very well and misunderstood a post
like someone got a wr and said that they had just tried to "put their nose to the grindstone" or whatever to get it

@frameacloud My wife and I have been keeping old, lost skills alive and well, cataloging and documenting them.
You never know what's going to Be a Lost Skill, until you're the last ones who know how to say, Work a spinning wheel.
