You might be an Internet Ancient if you:

• remember Netscape Navigator

• ever used any modem with a bandwidth of 28,8 or lower

• had an Early Adopter account on Livejournal

• witnessed the rise and fall of PhPBB

• witnessed the rise and fall of Napster

• used the web before Google existed

• ever used a dialup BBS site

• remember Gopher

• ever downloaded music as .mod files

• remember when about 90% of the web was made up of personal sites which were "under construction" and had pictures of people's cats on them

• remember when Yahoo was literally just a big list of websites

• know IRC commands

• have heard anyone unironically use the phrase "information superhighway"

• can recognise different bandwidth modems by what bleepy handshake sound they make

• have ever received one of those chain e-mails where you have to scroll through about a kilometre of forwarded headers only to find a "hilarious" vaguely lewd image and/or a banal list like this one

@Caudle Hyper-empathetic autistic. I am too, it can suck.

Combine it with Synathesisia and you can get the 'Seeing Auras' thing. Also, tracks with Werewolf syndrome.

And shapeshifters in general. When you're a hyper-empath, you tend to just Be The Thing People Want Without Anyone Knowing.

@starseeker@snouts.online Well there's already a Shinies based economy

@starseeker@snouts.online Absolutely agreed.

Other concepts were Kobold Tank Program and Kobold Station 13.

@starseeker@snouts.online Ah yes, good old Kobold Space Program

Some people are Gender: Harley Davidson Motorcycle and Beer Gut.

Some of them wake me up in the mornings by performing their gender, loudly outside my bedroom Window.

Now, I know that they're compensating for naturally flagging hormone levels and they're just affirming their place in the world, but don't you think they could be a bit... Quieter about it? Like, within the Legal Decibel Levels?

Or maybe keep it to a Parade, once a year.

re: gender thoughts

@caymanwent@snouts.online @cobaltshroom@snouts.online As a Plural system with a semi-masc lesbian and a Transguy in here...

Weirder things have happened. And that association with the Transmasc can actually be a psychological sign of partial androgen insensitivity during puberty.

@numberonebug@snouts.online I'm a Dragon, it's legally required for me to find you Adorable.

@Duende@snouts.online Take it to a thousand horsepower.

@dhivael@dragon.style @anthracite Was it Recent? haven't kept up.

...Their Dragon and Gnomes comic was A Callout

So like, you know how pyramid schemes are just blatant scams and universally acknowledged as bad, right? Well...

re: gender(fluids)

@heytanuki@snouts.online There are two Genders. Astra Tanuki is Genders Georg and is an outlier and should not be counted*

(A more useful metric is the root Mean Gender Square)

@wintgenstein Witchdoctors be like: You're feeling the Nature of the Triple Goddess rising in you, and this is normal when you're a Transgirl. Also probably Borderline. Goddesses be like that.

doctors be like: you are woman. i diagnose you with woman (borderline personality disorder)

@numberonebug@snouts.online Need you some pronoun pins

@numberonebug@snouts.online Dysphoria is dysphoria. You can't help it.

@numberonebug@snouts.online Know that feel. Then again, uh... How many plural non-binary trans folks do you know?

Because when you're Plural... the harder some alters pull in one direction, the Worse the plural feelings get.

Feel free to Telegram message me at the same username as here, I actually have a real Answer for this one.

...Speaking as the one in here who's Male, but uh... Transmasc, against all reason and logic.
