It’s seeming like as mail-in’s get counted and with the blue states won over 2016, Trump is on the out and out, but even if he’s not the amount of progress made this year has been insane. First openly trans and NB folk elected. DemSocs won 19 of their 22 elections. Progressive measures being passed across the board. Deep conservative strongholds flipping more and more left with some even flipping enough to influence electorals.

It’s not enough, but it’s enough to smile about.

I'm having trouble finding an essay/book/interview(???) where someone was discussing the gods going silent when humans went into modernity.
