Personal religion stuff, Gender, possible hot takes.
Okay, so, I didn't get raised Catholic or Protestant or anything like that.
I got raised on a Flower Farm and the belief structure was centered around The Sacred Feminine, The Goddess, Magic, Spirits, and Philosophy.
And there was a Christ figure here too, lifted right from Frank Herbert's Dune: The Kwizach-Haderach. The Shortening of the Way. A -Male- Witch who could seek the ancestral Feminine as well as the ancestral Masculine, and be in many places at the same time.
And growing up, I thought it was kinda Hokey and Fiction and 'Yeah, whatever'. I was in some Serious Denial.
And now I look around, and I'm Astounded. I'm not the only one who's This Thing. I know Many shamans, spirit callers, and folks who long to exist in Both places at the same time. Either one foot in Male, and the other in Female, or one foot in Reality and the other in the Spirit World.
It's upsetting when you find out that all the old stories are Real. Or real enough to make Sense. It's further upsetting when you end up Being something that your Faith, Growing up, Considered an Impossibility.
And now? We're Everywhere. The Christians were waiting on a Second Coming of Their Christ.
I look around and I see a Legion of Christ figures, All doing their best to figure out the Nuts and Bolts of how to Love everyone.
LGBTQ Glowup? (Selfies, EC, topless male)

Not a Gender transition precisely (Yet) but what I kinda considered the required Pregame: Losing right around 100lbs and putting on a bunch of muscle.
Oh, and getting comfortable wearing skirts, dresses, leggings, wearing my hair long, nail polish, carrying a Bag full of useful mom stuff, and letting Kerithe out more regularly to party.
I kinda feel like I've been doing everything Backwards but Whateva.

boomer values
growing up, my dad would talk about the time he spent in California, and how (boomer voice) "everyone in California follows the leisure ethic!" He said that meant that they only worked as hard as they had to in order to have enough time & money to go have fun. he saw this as a bad thing.
fuck the Protestant work ethic yall, it's toxic as hell
Hot take: The fact that a job interview requires you to literally suppress your own basic humanity (not smiling, making sure to shake hands firmly, not fidgeting, sitting in a posture you'd never normally sit in) in order to win the chance to sell your fucking blood to capital in return for a pittance is, in and of itself, a reason why every billionaire should be summarily executed
Oh, no, I'm not trans! I got born with a Girl soul in Addition to a boy soul, and then raised to be a Witch.
So, I'm Male-adjacent, but I can do all the magic that's usually got a 'You must be ^This^ attuned to the Sacred Feminine to Work this spell" restriction on it.
Hell, Kerithe can even do the Voice of Command on folks. We were Specifically told as a kid that if you're born Male and you can do That kinda stuff, that you're actually this Special Gender, only Smart witches know about.
Religion
What are you supposed to Do in Today's modern world when you voice a Message to a God, or Gods, and they Answer you?
And in like a Personal, "I don't get out much anymore, lets see if this new shaman is any Good" kinda Housecall Visit.
Also it's unfair to leave the answer to why we can't find Dark Matter just floating around in someone's head without any way to Describe it mathematically.
Southern Mass's local machine healer and part time witchdoctor.
Tiny motorcycles, magic potions, machine tools, progressive rock, trance states, and hand sharpened drill bits. Oh, and I read Tarot. Probably 18+ just to be sure.
